Lolo (pop. 2,746) is a friendly, unincorporated town in the Bitterroot Valley in western Montana.

Recreational opportunities abound in the nearby mountains and national forests.

Lolo is a bedroom community for Missoula. Still, Lolo offers good services for locals and travelers. The Grizzly Cafe and the Lolo Trail Cafe are favorite dining spots in Lolo.

Lolo Hot Springs, about 26 miles west of Lolo, on U.S. Highway 12, is a major attraction in this area of Montana.

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Wildlife Visitor Center in Missoula is a must see in nearby Missoula.
